Step 5: Earn If your referral becomes a Percona customer and completes their first payment, your organization will receive your referral reward voucher to redeem for service credits.

1. Who can I refer?
You can refer anyone working at an organization that could benefit from Percona’s Services — Percona Support, Percona Managed Services, and Percona Consulting for MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and Valkey. This could be a colleague from another business unit, a past coworker, or someone in your network.
2. Is there a limit to how many referrals I can make?
No. You can refer as many qualified contacts as you’d like. Each successful referral earns your organization a reward voucher.
3. How do I track the status of my referral?
Once our team connects with the referral contact, we’ll update you if there’s any progress. If we need any additional information, we’ll reach out directly. You can also check in with your CSM at any time.
4. When will my organization receive the referral reward voucher?
Your reward voucher will be issued once the company you referred moves forward with a Percona service contract and completes their first payment.
5. How is my organization’s referral reward amount decided?
We determine your organization’s reward voucher value based on the company you refer, considering various factors like organizational size, growth potential, and estimated annual revenue. Reward amounts are capped at $15,000 USD per successful referral.
6. How can my organization use its referral reward?
After it is issued, the reward voucher can be applied toward new entitlements or service additions to your organization’s contract—such as increasing server coverage, adding support for a new database environment, upgrading your support tier, or adding on services like TAMs or consulting engagements.
Reward vouchers can’t be used to discount your currently contracted services, but they’re a great way to save when your organization is expanding or modifying its scope of services.
7. Will the referral reward discount apply at renewal too?
No, the reward voucher is a one-time discount that applies only to your organization’s first purchase of a service. Standard pricing will apply during the renewal of this service.
8. Can I combine multiple referral rewards?
Yes! If your organization refers multiple contacts and earns more than one reward voucher, it can combine them and apply the total amount towards service additions. Your organization can also choose to use the reward in parts, as long as each voucher is used before it expires.
9. When does my referral reward voucher expire?
Reward vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date they’re issued. We recommend planning ahead and using them within their expiry date.
10. Can I claim the referral reward as an individual?
Referral rewards are only issued to your organization. They are non-transferable and cannot be claimed by individuals.
11. Can a referral be deemed ineligible?
Referrals are reviewed to ensure they meet program criteria. If a referral is found to be ineligible, we’ll let you know as soon as possible and keep you informed.
